14-day money-back guarantee
You can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, without giving a reason. Write to [email protected] from the email address linked to your account.
Link returns the refund to your original payment method. It usually appears within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. After 14 days, refunds are possible only in the cases listed under When a refund can still happen.
You can try the plugin on your Mac and your own footage before purchasing. The free trial includes all controls and adds an “ASHIGRAIN TRIAL” watermark to renders.
This guarantee is offered voluntarily, in addition to your rights under consumer law.
Your right of withdrawal and its waiver
EU consumer law normally gives you 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. For digital content supplied without a physical medium, the right of withdrawal ends once supply has begun, if you expressly agreed to immediate supply and acknowledged that you would lose the right (Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 16(m), as implemented in Estonia by the Law of Obligations Act).
Before checkout, on the pricing page, you must tick a box by which you:
- ask for immediate access to the download; and
- acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once the download is made available.
This consent is required to complete the purchase. We record it with a timestamp and include it in your purchase confirmation email. Our 14-day money-back guarantee still applies.
When a refund can still happen
Beyond the 14-day guarantee:
- If Ashigrain is faulty. If the plugin is not in conformity with its description and we cannot fix it within a reasonable time, you are entitled to a refund or a price reduction under consumer law. Write to us first so we can try to fix the problem.
- Through Link or Stripe. Link is the merchant of record for your purchase and may issue a refund directly, for example when resolving a payment issue.
- Chargebacks. If you dispute the charge with your bank, the license is revoked when the dispute is opened, with the same effects as a refund below. It is not restored automatically if the dispute ends in our favour; write to us and we will issue a new license.

What a refund does
When a purchase is refunded:
- your license is revoked, and your right to use Ashigrain under the EULA ends;
- your account no longer offers downloads for it, and download links already issued stop working;
- the activation of your Mac ends: the plugin returns to trial mode at its next online check, and at the latest 30 days after its last successful renewal;
- we email you a refund confirmation with a link to your account. Link sends its own confirmation of the refund, and the money goes back to the payment method you used.
Your account remains open. You can delete it from your account page.
We keep the refunded order record and the revoked license for the period described in the Privacy Policy.
iPhone and iPad app
Subscriptions to the Ashigrain app for iPhone and iPad are sold by Apple. Refunds for them are handled only by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
